This is really nice, the snow looks as if it just hit a giant rock and scattered! The mountian in front, however, looks a bit smudgey. I suggest smearing that to make it blend with the snow to look more "rock-like". The mountains in the background are very realistic looking, but I do reccommend adding a hint of brown, like the front mountian. The forest at the bottom looks great, nothing there that looks out-of-place, but a cool effect in snowy or cold places in general is a foggy haze. The sky looks a tiny bit pixelated, it doesn't look very smooth, but the colors look great! If it is a tall mountain peak, I would reccommend maybe adding a thin cloud layer around the top. All in all, this is a magnificent piece, nicely done ^^
Very nice! I think it its a believable background. I do agree that the shading could be a bit smoother and therefor a bit more natural, especially on snow which tends to have much softer shading. But all the same, well done!
beautiful ^.^ though since you asked for critique i think it could use some touching up with making the lines stick together a couple look a bit like theyre floating instead of being a part of the mountain
*critique* The mountains are very lovely, the stylized detail looks great, but then you go from details and paint squiggles to the avalanche which looks more like a 3d cloud you imported onto your nice mountains. The avalanche cloud needs more details, more lines to match the mountains. When you look at avalanche pictures you can see the crisp outlines of the snow as it plummets. The tail part may be soft, and even slightly fuzzy as its mostly snow drifting to the ground. Everything else looks great!
